Amelia Mayer Joins ShadowForge Media Board as Head of Production
Amelia Mayer has officially joined the ShadowForge Media Board of Directors as Head of Production, where she will lead the company’s production and sound operations across all divisions. She will also oversee the production team at 40RUM Films, the cinematic branch of ShadowForge Media that focuses on high-concept storytelling, visual depth, and emotionally charged filmmaking.
Amelia’s addition marks the beginning of a new creative era for the studio. Her background in production and sound gives her a rare perspective on how emotion, rhythm, and atmosphere shape an audience’s experience. She is known for creating environments that make every scene come alive, balancing realism and cinematic scale with precision and heart.
As Head of Production, Amelia will have a direct hand in shaping the cinematic identity of ShadowForge. Her team will manage production coordination, sound design, on-set recording, and post-production for all major projects. At 40RUM Films, she will guide collaboration between directors, editors, and cinematographers to maintain a consistent creative vision across the company’s upcoming slate, including Elliot The Iron Mask, The Rope Game, and Gold Guns and Girls.
Founder and CEO Daequan Winbush called Amelia’s arrival a major moment for ShadowForge Media. He said her creativity, technical ability, and leadership add a new dimension to the company’s growth. “Amelia doesn’t just manage production — she builds experiences,” he said. “She understands how story, sound, and pace connect to emotion. That’s what sets her apart.”
Amelia’s career spans both independent and large-scale film projects. She has spent years mastering the balance between artistic storytelling and the practical demands of production management. Her leadership style is focused and collaborative, pushing teams to deliver their best work while staying true to the creative vision of each project.
At 40RUM Films, she plans to expand the production department into a full creative hub capable of handling every stage of filmmaking, from development to final cut. Her goal is to build a team that combines hands-on craftsmanship with modern digital workflows, giving ShadowForge the strength of a studio system with the heart of independent film.
Amelia said she joined ShadowForge because she believes in its vision and commitment to originality. “What Daequan is building is something different,” she said. “ShadowForge gives creators a real voice. It’s a place where new ideas can grow, and where storytelling still comes first.”
Her appointment supports ShadowForge Media’s long-term goal of unifying all divisions under one creative identity. The company operates across six major areas including 40RUM Films, Forge+, Forge Fight League, Hammer Index, ForgeyWorld, and AuraLink. Each division represents a different side of entertainment, from film and streaming to technology and live events. Amelia’s leadership will help tie these worlds together through consistent quality, clear direction, and shared creative standards.
With Amelia at the head of production, ShadowForge Media moves closer to becoming a self-contained creative powerhouse capable of developing, producing, and delivering its projects entirely in house. Her experience, vision, and leadership make her a core part of the company’s next phase and a defining force behind the evolution of 40RUM Films and the ShadowForge cinematic universe.
